As we all continue to navigate the many challenges thrust upon us in 2020 – perhaps it was the loss of a loved one, a job loss, damage from the unprecedented hurricane and wild fire seasons, home schooling your children, or maybe just the inability to gather with friends or family members – a simple “Happy New Year” message just doesn’t seem to suffice this year.
We want to thank all of the healthcare and other front-line workers for their hard work and sacrifices to keep us safe and healthy during the pandemic. We also want to thank you for your continued confidence in Morris Law Group. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and will continue to be here for you now and in the future. My sincere wish for all of us this year is to have the strength, resilience and endurance to get through this uncertain time and emerge from it with renewed peace and hope in 2021. Our team looks forward to connecting with you again soon and for better times ahead for all.
In this month’s newsletter, be sure to read our article on estate planning for same-sex couples. We also would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Morris Law Group legal team, Associate Attorney Gessimbergue (Gessie) S. Monteiro Jr., Esq., LL.M. Originally from Brazil, Gessie speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish, and can assist our clients in all three languages. By the way, all of our attorneys are available to meet with you at your convenience at any of our four offices in South Florida, or if you prefer, by phone or video conference. Finally, we wanted you to know you can receive the same benefits as the Morris Law Group team from Dignity Memorial. Watch this informative video on pre-planning here.
From all of us at Morris Law Group, we wish you a joyous, healthy and prosperous new year!
Stuart Morris, Esq., CPA, B.C.S.
