
Mr. Little focuses his practice on estate planning for high net worth individuals and families. His practice includes planning for U.S. and non-U.S. citizens and residents. He regularly counsels his clients in structuring effective planning techniques to allow for intra-generational wealth transfers with minimized tax implications and maximized asset protection from potential creditors. He also has particular experience in planning with life insurance and retirement assets.
Mr. Little has represented a wide variety of business owners in achieving wealth preservation and business succession planning. Specifically, Mr. Little has structured a wide variety of estate plans utilizing entities such as family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, irrevocable trusts, and a combination of these planning vehicles.
In addition, Mr. Little regularly counsels his clients on effective charitable giving strategies. He has facilitated the formation of many charitable trusts and private foundations.
Mr. Little was named to
Florida Trend magazine's Florida Legal Elite in 2010 and was chosen as a Florida Rising Star 2010 by
Florida Super Lawyers magazine.
Mr. Little has addressed many organizations including UBS, Morgan Stanley, AmericaVest and JP Morgan. He has presented a variety of estate planning topics including family limited partnerships, grantor retained annuity trusts, charitable giving and business succession planning.
Mr. Little is admitted to practice law in both Florida and Tennessee. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council, and the Florida State University Planned Giving Counsel. Mr. Little previously served as legal counsel for the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale and is a co-founder of Friends of the Palm Beach Zoo.
Mr. Little received a B.S. in accounting from Florida State University in 1998 and graduated from the Florida State University College of Law with honors in 2001. In 2002, Mr. Little obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law.
