February 13, 2003: Ellen Morris
will speak at Valencia Falls in Boynton Beach on "Seniors
in Crisis: Medicaid and Elder Law documents, requirements,
and eligibility for Long-Term Care."
April 2003:
Stuart Morris will speak at the Stetson
University Special Needs Trust Symposium.
May 2003: Mr. Morris will speak
on "Multi-State Elder Law Issues/Snowbirds" to the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys May Institute in
Miami Beach.
January 27, 2003:
Ellen Morris spoke with the case Managers and
Discharge Planners of Delray Medical Center on on
"Medicaid Planning Issues for the Long-Term Care Patient."
She also spoke on the same topic at Good Samaritan
Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, both in West Palm Beach.
November, 2002: Stuart Morris
spoke at the New York University 61st Tax Institute on
Federal Taxation in San Diego. He spoke at the New York
State Bar Office to the Out of State Florida Bar
Practitioners in Manhattan in December 2002. October
9, 2002: Mr. Morris spoke at the Caring for
the Elderly Symposium at the Westin Hotel in Cypress
Creek. The topic was "Medicaid: Protect and Preserve
Your Assets from Long Term Care Expenses."
October 18, 2002: Mr. Morris
spoke at the Special Needs Trusts Seminar of
the Stetson University College of Law . The topic was
"Tax Savings Strategies."
Mr. Morris was awarded the 2002
NAELA John J. Regan Writing Award for his article
"Taxation of Special Needs Trusts," which was published in
the Summer 2001 issue of the NAELA quarterly.
